Finding a therapist may make you feel indecisive. You may also feel like it is not worth it as you may be having the added stress of doing Google searches, getting the run around with finding someone who is accepting new clients, hassles with understanding your insurance benefits or waiting for a call back so you can find out more information. It can also feel like a huge risk, when you imagine yourself talking to a therapist. Especially if you have had negative experiences in the past. I welcome you at being at this point of visiting my page and happy to have you learn more about me. My aim is to make this process friendlier and point you in the next step of where you want to be.

My belief is that therapy is a valuable service and should be accessible to all. I have made it my life's mission to assist people who are in need to overcome barriers that may be holding them back from improving their standard of living.

I can help you by explaining the process, work with you in partnership at the pace that you need, and to go over options as you are in the DRIVER’S SEAT. My job is also to provide a confidential, nonjudgemental and neutral space to do our work together. For convenience around your time, I do offer some evening and Saturday time slots. Going to therapy is easier then before with secured video conferencing. No commuting to the office and to ensure the health of our community you can use your computer, tablet or smartphone. For more information contact me today.

MY STORY

I am a therapist in the Sierra Vista, Arizona area. Originally from Los Angeles, I started working with teenagers as a Peer Support to help with matters relating to runaway and homeless, pregnant and parenting, GLBTQ, sex trafficking and incarceration. I moved to Arizona in 2005 where my work branched out to school aged military children, child welfare, and complex needs children in the Arizona behavioral health delivery system. My work now includes helping adults in treating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, co-occurrences, and serious mental illness designations. Clinically, I practiced therapy in a community mental health outpatient setting using a culturally sensitive, strength based and individualized point of view. To meet the needs of rural communities, I have used a telehealth mode of delivery to include Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Yuma and Maricopa Counties. I continue to remain focused in my service to provide therapy to Arizona residents living in rural communities within my private practice.
